Across the threshold: Into the fire 09
Running away from the battlefield, Kuriuno carried Raidos in one arm and her weapon in it's original form in the other. "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU-!" Raidos demanded when Kuriuno squeezed her and said "Silence! We need to grab our sister and activate the drones within the ship!" "What!? Raidos exclaimed, "What about Cerberus!?" "Let it rampage!" Kuriuno exclaimed, "It'll make a good distraction for our escape!" Suddenly, Scott appeared with Blueacon right in front of two forcing Kuriuno to top in her tracks. As Katie and Wisey reached her, Kuriuno looked around as the agents and Buckethead soon surrounded the two as Kuriuno held out her bow in a in defiance exclaiming, "You will never stop our campaign! All of Atlatntia is our birthright!" "(Your birthright my (censored)!)" Blueacon exclaimed before Katie called out, "Blue wait!" Turning to the battle maiden, she said, "Please, erm revert back to your original form and lay your arms down, now!" Turning to the catira, Kuriuno exclaimed, "Don't you give me orders mongrel! What are you doing is an attack on Elysium itself!" "Look! I know we don't have a place in your war but we can't let you destroy that town!" Suddenly Kuriuno shot several icicles forcing Katie and Wisey to move out of the way. As they rolled out of the way, Wisey's hand accidentally hit the 2nd button on Katie's belt causing a weapon to materialize in front of the two. It was built like a G-Saber but the blade was thin like a rapier and an abnormally long handle. Seeing this Katie turned to Wisey who then nodded and grabbed the weapon. "Get ready to get wrecked!" He exclaimed as tried to switch the weapon into gun mode but found no transformation trigger. "There's no switch!" Wisey stated much to the other's chagrin. Suddenly Katie called out, "Move!" as she pushed Wisey aside before an ice spike could skewer him. Seeing this, Kuriuno was about to fire another volley of ice arrows when suddenly Raidos unleashed a bolt of electricity on her sister. Roaring in pain, Kuriuno dropped Raidos and staggered, "What!?" She muttered "Raidos?" Getting up, the yellow clad battle maiden aimed her spear at her sister and proclaimed, "Enough of this sister! We already lost our battle ship! We lost!" "YOU LITTLE-!" Was all Kuriuno said before materializing out of nowhere, Eric grabbed the the deer woman's leg. "(What the (censored)!?)" Blueacon exclaimed, "(Is that the kid from before!?)" Eric gave Katie a nod before vanishing with the battle maiden, leaving only Raidos and her sister's weapons. Turning to the catira, Wisey noticed the look under the visor and asked, "Uhhh, Katie you okay?" Shaking her head, the catira answered, "Yeah, I am. come on, let's go help the others."
Leaping onto the cliff, Rick got up and called out, "HEY! The CPDF guys are going to use those drill cannon things to blow up the monster! We just have keep that thing distracted!" "Really?" Omnidec called back before shooting at Cerberus, "Huh well I guess we should-" Suddenly a blast hit the creature from behind as Voidmond leaped onto one of cliffs nearby. "Void?" Tameron exclaimed, "What happened to you." "I was frozen a few minutes ago." Voidmond answered, "Can you go EVO?" "It's been twenty minutes I think." Tameron surmised, "But I need to wait for an hour before I can use EVO again." Quickly placing a hand on the homunculus' chest, Voidmond poured power into his comrade saying "Alright, that should help speed up the cool down period. By the way, where's Flaron?" "In there." Tameron said pointing to Cerberus. "Huh well-" Voidmond started before he quickly realized where Flaron is, "Wait, what?"
Inside Cerberus, Flaron used the spit-fire from Twin Drake to shoot blasts of within it's stomach as she struggled to not fall into it's stomach. "Sorry big guy!" She exclaimed, "But you're not getting to that city!" As she continued firing, Cerberus bellowed as the spots she had already shot at had begun to slowly heal. Seeing this, Flaron blinked curiously as she watched the tissue heal. "Huh, it's weaker inside" She pondered before she holstered the fire arm and started to remove the Requiem chip within. "Come on!" She said, "You've been in worse scrapes than this!"
Three years ago....
Later that day, Flaron had tried to get back to her violin playing but after a few hours she ceased as the mood left. She then looked around the shack that the goofball called home. Passing the massive ice chest plugged into the wall, she approached magazines and picked one up. "Huh looks nice," She said, finding a picture of a woman with baggy pants, {I'LL HAVE TO SPEAK WITH TAME TO SEE IF THERE'S-} Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Quickly, Flaron grabbed a sheet and wrapped it around her body before she walked to the door. Looking out of the peep hole she saw a group of people with a simian female in front with a cannon and a wicked smile on her face as she aimed at the door. Sensing danger, Flaron quickly ducked as a blast struck the frame causing it to explode into splinters. Rolling to her back she found one of the grunts above her. Kicking him in the chest, Flaron got up and grabbed a nearby rack as two more grunts ran at her pulling out blasters. Quickly she swung the rack at the two and made a break for the window when suddenly another smashed through the wall, stopping her in her tracks. "COME HERE YOU LITTLE-!" He exclaimed before Flaron kicked him in between the legs causing him to drop to his knees as Flaron ran to the back door. Opening it, she only found more grunts waiting for her outside.
As the grunts brought Flaron to their leader, the second in command of the group, a figure clad in robes said, "Captian, Is that? " The simian leader smirked as she answered, "Yes, it is! Looks like the rumors of a super robot being here is true! This beauty will pay a pretty penny!" Gritting her teeth Flaron struggled against her captors before one of the grunts punched her in the face. "Know your place Bucket head!" "Ma'am," the robed figure spoke up, "our men has heard rumors of a second android of having been found a few a days ago so I think we should keep her intact just in case if there is another one." "Fine! We will use it as bait if needed." Hearing this, Flaron, worried for Tameron's safety, snapped and threw one of the grunts at the robbed figure as she began to glow blue. Inside, something awoke in Flaron's internal systems causing a horn to materialize on her head . Quickly she dispatched the other grunt and dashed towards the leader. The grunts tried to interfere but Flaron smacked them aside before reaching the leader. Grabbing the simian woman by the neck, Flaron's eyes began to glow as she began to pummel the struggling simian, unaware of the her body beginning to morph into a copy said simian as she roared out in rage.
Today....
Three years ago....
In the woods, thoughts of Flaron passed Tameron's mind as he walked towards his home. Suddenly a twig crunched rang in the air, causing the homunculus to pause in his tracks. spinning around quickly, he did not see anything in the distance causing him to call out "Who's there?" Picking up a stick he walked towards the source of the noise when something passed in the trees. "I'm warning you!" he warned, "I don't want any funny business so you-!" Suddenly a cry rang out as a figure smashed into the ground in front of him. Checking the man, Tameron found that it was one of the men from town with a frozen patch where his heart would be. "A pirate?" He muttered, "but how-?" Suddenly a hooded figure landed nearby causing Tameron to Exclaim loudly before getting up and aiming the stick in the figure's direction. "Calm down!" the figure called out raising a gloved hand, "We aren't going to hurt you!" "We?" Tameron muttered before suddenly, three more figures appeared out the woods. "What!? Who are you guys?" Approaching the humonculus, one of the figures said "Tameron Topazaro, we come in peace!" As soon as the figure had spoken those words, something clicked inside in his head as memories or really flashed in his mind. "Who are you?" he asked. The figure pulled back his hood, revealing blue long hair, and answered, "I was agent Gamma of 14 Jewels Verdian Jayson Mercsapa. However, you can call me Verdtrus."
Approaching the shack, Tameron thought, 'She alright? Am I too late?' Reaching the door, he ran inside calling out "FLARE, ARE YOU OK-" Before him were several grunts, all bloody and laying unconscious on the ground. in the middle of the room was a rattled naked horned simian, holding the leader who's face was a mask of terror in one hand and her violin in the other. Seeing Tameron, the entity dropped the woman and began to walk towards the homunculus before she stopped managing to say "T-Tame!" before to breaking down as she fell to her knees. Instinctively recognizing this simian as Flaron, Tameron ran to her side saying, "Flare!" Taking her into his arms, Tameron did his best to console her as the now formed homunculus cried in his arms as Chromdraco and the others watched on solemnly with exception to Verdtrus who watched on intensely. Suddenly, the horn on Flaron's head began to grow even more as she began to spasm uncontrollably. Before Tameron could say anything, Verdtrus then tore Tameron away and placed a chip up to Flaron's head causing a flash of energy to light up the house. As the light faded, Tameron saw Flaron on the ground as Verdtrus turned to the homunculus stated, "It's alright, She's just unconscious. You're not safe here, I think it's best you both should come with us."
Today....
'It was my fault that those pirate had hurt you!' Tameron thought as he, Omnidec and Twin Drake fired upon Cerberus, 'Even though Verdtrus was willing to give us a place to stay, we already had something like that back home before those pirate arrived. It's nice to know that there are others like us out there, but once this G-Zero business is sorted out, I'll find us a home away from this mess!' As Omnidec and Verdtrus fired upon the beast, from below, Voidmond with Rick ran up the arms of towards to the heads of the monsters. Noticing them, Cerberus threw their hands to forcing the two to grab on. Quickly Voidmond slammed his hand onto the creature's arm as his body began to glow. Seeing this, Rick muttered, "What the?" before Voidmond called out, "Come on! Do you want to help or not?" Stunned Tameron watched the fake garuda as he leapt onto the center most head and quickly held on for dear life as its two remaining heads began to move to his direction before Rick shot at the left most head, distracting the other head long enough for Voidmond to plant a hand on it's cranium. Quickly, Voimond sent a surge of energy that caused the creature to roar in pain allowing an opening for Tameron. {FLARE!} Tameron said as he morphed into his EVO state, {I'M READY WHEN YOU ARE!} Inside Flaron aimed the now loaded Spitfire at the same spot and with a mental command she called out {NOW!} as both she and Tameron open fire at the same time.
