Across the Threshold Part 9: Fire Storm
Staring at the prosthetic, Tarrot asked Q, "So you are an interloper? Right?" Q asked "(What? Chase The frack is he talking about? What's going on!?)" Confused, Tarrot turned to Chase asking "Hey you. What's he saying?" They can't understand Q, Chase thought, I guess that gives us an advantage. Chase then turned to Q saying in his brother's language "(Q call for the others! Tell them that Mordecai is in danger!" Q responded by saying "(What!? Do you realize how many floors I had to pass in order to get over here!?)" Chase said "(I know, and LOOK OUT!)" The bronze knight shot a clearer bubble at Q who ducked out of the way, creating another hole in the wall. Q raised his wrist device and turning it on saying "(FORM CHANGE!)"
Meanwhile, Chipp was flying through the buildings trying to find the flying form seen earlier, only miss the chance to shoot the tracer at the flying form when it dissipated into electrical mist. Landing down on the street, Chipp demorphed from his carmine armored form into his civilian form. He brought out his comm and noticed Chase's distress signal. "Frack!" Chipp said as he turned towards the university.
In the interigation room Verdtrus and Mordecai were sitting at a desk, with a silver briefcase on the desk. Mordecai was starring at the blue skinned man who was bringing out a device that looks a large clunky prototype of the morphers that the trio that Chase and Q are dealing with right now have used. Mordecai looked on the to the device and picked it up to examine it. "Remember anything?" Verdtrus asked as Mordecai opened the main pannel. "It's hazy, but yes I starting to remember." He answered as he closed the pannel, "What about the guy outside, and the agency he works for?" "A liability." Verdtrus answered. "HORSE APPLES!" A voice called out of nowhere. Verdtrus waved his hand and Chromdraco appeared as an invisible veil fell down. "We should ask for their help, not trying to kill them!" He yelled as he pounds the table. "Verdtrus, you got to listen to me! Maybe we can look for some help in the CPDF!" Chromdraco continued "They don’t seem to want to cause harm!" Then they heard an explosion on the roof, Chromdraco turned to Verdtrus and turned to Omnidec who appeared in the same way that Chromdraco came in. "Omnidec, are the other three fighting the agent?" Chromdraco asked. "I guess so, Flarion has the best range of sensitivity, you know because of her Luc requiem chip." Omnidec answered with a shrug hands on his hips. "JUCK!" Chromdraco started to drill up to the roof creating a hole, leaving Mordecai, Omnidec, and Verdtrus with wide eyes.
