Across the Threshold part 12: First Contact
On the streets Chipp, Bartch, and Wisey were rushing to Barkely's hospital stopping to help people to evacuate the area. Bartch saw a reptilian woman running with an egg with cracks on it. She nearly drops it only for Wisey to catch it and give it back to her. "Are you alright?" He asked her. "Yes thank you!" She answered before leaving the streets. Wisey turned to finish the evacuation with Chipp and Bartch but notices Scott's ship flying towards Barkely's hospital. "Chippy," Scott called him, "I found your guy, he's with three other beings." "Thanks again Scott." Chipp answered receiving the image from . "Hey isn't that the Mordecai guy that Chase and Q were questioning?"
"Did you crawl out of a gutter?" Omnidec said. "What?" the new blue reptilian asked. "Seriously, "Omnidec explained, "You look a sewer monster." "HOW IN THE LIVING HECK ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!?" Verdtrus demanded "weren't you killed by whoever teleport you away?" "Well, let's say I managed to get out nearly unscathed." He said holding up his prosthetic hand. "What happened to your arm?" Mordecai asked, "This is a little gift from your red friend's rescuers." the reptilian said, then he turned to Mordecai, "Say you look familiar, " he said with a look of confused familiarity on his face "hey, who are you?" Suddenly an accented voice called out "STOP, CDPF! YOU'RE ALL UNDER ARREST!" Turning Omnidec, Verdtrus, and Mordecai turned to see Chipp, Wisey, and Bartch standing with their guns raised, aiming at three. Verdtrus turned to Omnidec with a glare. "Why didn't you detect these guys, let alone Beowulf" "Sorry got the monkey guy knocked me in the head." Omnidec answered motioning to his cracked helmet. "Hey!" Chipp said out in annoyance then after thinking a second saying "Wait, you're a robot?" "Try Homunculus." Beowulf corrected. "Who are you?" Wisey asked. Beowulf answered "Well I'm glad you asked, because, my shtick is-" "His shtick is to murder us before they unleash G Zero from across the universe!" "HA HA HA ah, very funny!" "My shtick is to end you guys and take back federal property." "Oh great, now they're runaway criminals." Chipp said, "Anything else?" "Well," Beowulf said as he pulls out a stick and leaning on it, "to be honest, I think that technically, we are on the same side. Want to help me get rid of these guys?" It was at this time, that Bakore started to transform, causing the Barkely's hospital to shake. " Barkely's, Frack! Bartch! Wisey! Go and help Q and Chase while I help our friend deal with these three!" Chipp said while raising his transformation device as Bartch and Wisey ran passed the three that they were here for and then Beowulf, who brought out a device similar to the one Verdtrus presented to Mordecai earlier. "What? Where in the world did you get that?" Verdtrus asked. "Mordecai," Chipp called out "I'm not going to pretend that you don't have a hand in this, but come with me, and we can get that adapter out of your head, alright?" Then Mordecai pulled out the device that Verdtrus gave him earlier. "Well, I guess that's our answer, now I guess it's time to complete my job." Beo, said as he puts on the device and turns it on. A flash of light envelopes him with a green light which caught everyone to turn towards him, and in his place is a red and gunmetal armored figure with a double layered white back plate on his left shoulder is a dark metallic bear claw. Chipp still not transformed, started move towards Mordecai, only for Omnidec to jump in front of Mordecai drawing a circular weapon from his back. Chipp then, knowing what was to come, activates his transformation device.
On the roof Bakore was changed into into a large humanoid red dragon with vague human facial features and brown hair. In one fell swoop Bakore squashed the reptilian with his foot, reducing him back into a chip. Bakore then swiped the chip with his tail into the hole which was caught by Flip on the ground below. Chase looking at what was standing before him was repulsed by what he's seeing. Q turned to his brother with a worried look under his helmet. The two noticed Wisey and Bartch enterning through the roof entrance. "(Wiset, Bartch, what the heck are you two here)?" Q asked the two. "We have receivedyour distresssignal earlier." Wisey answered. Then Wisey and Bartch turned on their transformation devices, allowing them to assume their armored forms. With four armored warriors walking up to Bakore, the two interlopers on the ground were starting to bring their own chips out. Flip held one of his own chips with the one he caught and inserted it into his device. Tarrot brought out his device and removed a sand colored chip already inside of it, and inserted a purple chip with purple vines on it. "Oh so that's why you keep disappearing into sand." Flip said. "Yes," Tarrot responded while brinig out a blue gauntlet and putting it on. "Thanks to these chips, we can utilize new abilities in tandem with the items we recovered over time."
Back at the roof
Bartch, Wisey, Chase, and Q drew and swiped cards that produces for each being respectfully a cannon, a G. Saber (a weapon that can alternate between a gun and a sword), an electric crossbow, and a weighted plasma blade (a weapon with a rod that produces a beam of energy with weights on it to ). The four rushed at Bakore who responded by producing his sword which had grown and sliced at them only for the four to spit up and try to overwhelm the giant hybrid like entity with fire power. Chase and Wisey shot at the head while Q was slicing at the ankles with Bartch shooting at the knees causing Bakore to collapse. Chase raised his crossbow to shoot Bakore's head but suddenly Bakore created a portal underneath himself, falling through the gateway. As the four lowered their weapons Bartch said to the other the group "Are you guys all right?" "Yeah." Chase answered "Thanks for the back up." "No problem!" Wisey said. Suddenly they heard a loud sound, causing them look up to see a portal open above them with Bakore emerging firing blasts of energy at the four forcing them to hit the deck. "Great," Chase said, "what's next?" As an answer, a shadow loomed over him. Chase turned around to find Bakore looming above him with his sword raised ready to finish the job. However, before Bakore could do anything else, Bartch shot him in the back of the head, causing him to drop the sword. Chase and the others got up and each pulled their own ranged weapons and started to shoot at Bakore. In the sky, Scott shot at the dragonoid as well, and even dive bombed the guy whenever he got up. Bakore looked up to Scott and fired a shot of pure energy at point blank, forcing Scott to eject from the ship before it crashed, landing nearby Tarrot and Flip. Seeing the two, Scott got up and activated his transformation device saying "FORM CHANGE".
