Across the Threshold: Requiem's Nine part 4
Verdtrus was scouting ahead only to see a familiar figure looking straight at him near the 4th corner, "What is going on?" Jekk, Black Hermit's right hand man, is a large reptilian next to him were a trio made of a ceasarian, sirain and a garuda. "Who are these three stooges?" Verdtrus asked. "Not now!" Jekk said, "I know what you're up to." "What makes you think that?" Verdtrus said getting up. "I've heard from one our operatives," Jekk explained, "That you are going into a coupe with the CPDF." He tensed immediately, "How did you get here?" He asked. The ceasarian sneered and was about to pull something out before Jekk stopped him with his hand out saying. "I just want to know why you are doing everything against us and if you're on our side." "That depends, " Verdtrus said "What are planning to do with the requiem items, I've noticed that a few of the items were inactive for some reason. Just what are these Requiem items and what are they for." "I'll explain, but only if you're on our side or on their side. So I ask again what side are you on?" Then Chromdraco and Mordecai emerged, carrying the interloper in a cloak. "Who's that?" Jekk asked pointing to the cloaked figure. "Verdian what's going on?" Chromdraco asked immediately realizing what's going on. "Chrome get Mordecai and the interloper out of here NOW!" Verdtrus said before the trio rushed after them. Chromdraco and Mordecai soon ran in the opposite direction as their three assailants began to transform into forms similar to the gun wielding sirian monster from the university. The sirian became more snakelike, while the garuda and the ceasarian began to spout fins and green plates. "HEY WAIT A MINUTE! I DIDN'T GIVE THE ORD-" Jekk started before the trio ran out of ear shot, then he turned to Verdtrus saying "I guess that's a no then." before pulling out a silver belt that looked similar to the FUZOR belt but more simpler, almost like sime thing meant for mass production. "What is.." Verdtrus managed to get out before Jekk said putting on the belt and turning it on, "I can't take any chances. CHANGE FORM!"
At New Forma
Entering the building, Chase, Mark and Katie saw the ruined room and Beowulf's unconscious body on the ground. "Freeze!" Chase said raising his gun only to find omnidec shooting at them with his own weapon in gun mode. "Hey WAIT!" Katie said, after the three ducked behind pillars to avoid the projectiles, "You guys called for us you (censored)!" "YOU IDIOTS BROUGHT RHO NU WITH HIS FUZOR BELT!" Omnidec yelled, stopping for a minute, "Next time, check your prisoners." Chase rose up and shot an electric bolt square at Omnidec's direction. "Omnidec!" Twin Drake said as he rushed to his fallen ally. Suddenly Beowulf got up and in one motion, drove a plasma like blade into Twin Drake's back. "Not so tough are you now, eh?" Beowulf said in a fake, almost Australian accent as he got on Twin Drake who was screaming on the floor. He started "now, its time you get what's coming to-" but a well placed bolt shot to the face sent him flying a few feet back. "Lousey son of a-" Omnidec said under his breath as he was getting up, stopping to notice the flying lizard man was on top of his friend seconds ago. He then reached out to Twin Drake with the hand with the gauntlet and touched his friend's back. Chase noticed the gauntlet touching the dragon like figure and was perplexed at how the knife wound was disappearing quicker than it had appeared. "What in the-" Chase managed to get out before he took a large helping of sand to the helmet. "CHASE!" Katie screamed as the interlopers got up. "Let's move!" Tarrot said as he picked up Twin Drake and started to run off. Omnidec got up at first to run off after them, yet stopping to turn around to face the armored warriors, "I was serious about what I said, next time don't bring Rho Nu with you, see you guys later." He then ran off after Tarrot. Mark then ran after them as well but before he could reach them, he tripped over Beowulf landing on top of the Draken as a result "AHHH you (censored)! Watch where you're going!" As Katie helped Chase up, Hoot came in with a G saber and said "Hey guys? Oh so you didn't get them?" "Not really!" Mark said before Beowulf threw him off saying "GET THE (Censored) OFF OF ME!" "What was that about!?" Katie demanded. "I was doing my JOB!" Beowulf said panting before getting up. "Come on!" Beowulf said as he disappeared into the darkness. "Son of a gun, he's going to get us killed!" Mark said as he, Katie, Chase and Hoot followed after the Draken.
