Across the Threshold: Requiem's nine part 6
In front of the Dirsh museum of Ancient and Modern History, Kafe's hovercraft lands in the parking lot with Wisey first to jump off. "Wisey WAIT!" Chipp said jumping out next, "That idiot is going to get himself killed!" suddenly he felt a hand "Come on!" Kafe said jumping out pulling a gun and a whitish object. Bartch noticed the object and thought about it for a moment but then moved to help Wisey evacuate the people. Q was next rushing past the crowd and entered into museum itself. Chipp noticed this, rushing after Q, saying "Where is he going?" Kafe, after helping a family noticed Chipp, followed him inside.
Inside Q found a strange cloaked figure standing by himself. Around him is a circle of scorch marks. "Who are you?" the figure called out noticing Q. "(A peacemaker.)" Q said. "What?" The figure said. Q just furrowed his brow and said sighed, raising his transformation device saying, "(Nothing! FORM CHANGE!)" and one transformation later the figure was looking at Q's armored form. "What the heck is that!?" the figure asked but Q then ran at him after summoning his G saber. "OH (censored)!" and threw off his cloak and caught Q's G saber. His true form is a golden humanoid bird-like monster. "You're new!" He said holding the g saber "The names Yellow Flash" and then he rips it out of Q's arms and used it to slash at the garuda, causing him to fall on the ground "What's yours?" and he raised it up and charged. At the moment before the garuda raised Q's weapon, Chipp busted through the doors and managed to shot the monster as he was charging. The monster stopped staggered back a few paces, dropping the G saber, and met Chipp's glare as he pointed his gun at the monster's face. "Well didn't see you coming. You with-" "FREEZE!" Chipp said "Ok" the monster said raising his hands and moving back "just gotta cut me off there do y-?" "I said Freeze" Chipp said holding gun. "Geez," The monster muttered, "lighten up you maniac I was just looking for that blue-" but Chipp just pointed the gun at his face cutting the monster off. "Chiros!" Kafe said walking in, "What are you doing here?" Chiros looked over Chipp's side and said "Hey blue bug! how's it going?" "I told you to not call me that!" Kafe said furrowing his brow. "You know this maverick?" Chipp asked. "To be frank, yes, it's a long story." "Oh come on he's a noid, like me!" "(Noid?)" Q asked. "Like I said, long story." Kafe said facing Chiros "Why are you here? I thought I told you to not to metalicize in public." "Well," "I heard from the grapevine, some info about the Red Dragon army." This made both Chipp and Q alert. "So I decided to put a minor show to get you here." Kafe then punched him in the face. "What was that for!?" Chiros demanded but Kafe grabbed the golden entity by it's "collar" and pulled him to his face shouting "YOU IDIOT! Do you realize that someone could have gotten hurt!?" "I didn't mean to-" Chiros studdered before Wisey and Bartch came in with the former saying "Hey guys, we told the police that we-" then he paused looking at Chiros's face and said "oh....you got him already?" "Chiros," Kafe said closing his eyes "just change back." and suddenly Chiros became a golden blob and warpped into his true form, a teenage garuda with bear like features in run down street clothes. "Sorry.." He said shirking back a bit, Kafe breathed and said, "I guess the cat's out of the bag now isn't it, let's head out back. I have a lot to explain at Shiro's." Kafe soon grabbed Chiros by the back of his hoodie and led the garuda to one of the back doors with everyone else just staring at the two. "Well, come on!" Kafe said opening the door. The agents then looked at each other and then one by one followed as well.
Meanwhile in the New forman streets, Mordecai and Chromdraco both ran as the three monstrous forms chased them with an almost murderous attempt. Chromdraco was holding the still blank interloper while Mordecai was holding the bag with the FUZOR prototype inside. "Any ideas genius!?" Chromdraco asked. "Just one," Mordecai said panting, "RUN!" Chromdraco sighed and stopped to looked back at their pursuers, the largest was a humanoid cobra-like monster with metal plates all around his body, next to him is a dragon-like monster similar to his comrade, the third is nowhere to seen. Mordecai also stopped as well and said "What are you doing!? They're going to-" but Chromdraco threw the interloper at Mordecai saying, "Hold this guy." He then retracted out a set of claws on his gloves. "I'll take them on!" He then rushed at the snake entity, saying, "Come on you gutless monsters, bring it on!" "With pleasure!" The cobra monster responded stopping himself and his friend, telling him "I'll handle this guy." He then charged to meet Chromdraco in combat. Chromdraco slashed first, cutting the cobra man's chest open. The cobra stumbled back a few meters but Chromdraco unfurled two metal wing and flew at the cobra, lifting him up in the air and suplexed the entity so hard the cobra man broke the top plate on his head. "Where did you get that?" Mordecai asked. "Bionics!" Chromdraco answered moving into an attack stance. Getting up, the cobra man stumbled and felt the blood running from the top of his head. "You okay Vandrin?" His companion asked. "No!" The cobra man called out "Back me up here Tavo!" "Blast it!" Chromdraco said as the dragon like monster charged raised his gun at Chromdraco's face. Tavo fired a few shots as Chromdraco blocked the bullets with the metallic wings. "(censored) it!" Tavo said as he discarded the gun, "I'll take you on!" Two streams of energy shot out of his back and they propelled Tavo towards Chromdraco's direction. The dragon rammed into Chromdraco, breaking the wings and sending the draconian flying back. When he got up, Chromdraco looked at his wings and furled them up, wincing in the process. "Got another one in ya?" He asked. "There's a lot more than that!" Tavo answered readying a knife. Tavo flew forwards and went after Chromdraco's neck while the later blocked the knife with his gauntlets and smacked it away. Tavo then attempted to used his claws but his opponent had other ideas. Catching the claws in his hands, Chromdraco twisted both of Tavo's arms until a two simultaneous snaps are heard. Tavo screamed in agony, cursing in the language Q uses as his arms falls to the ground from the now bloody stumps that used to be his elbows. Chromdraco then kicked Tavo in the chest, sending the dragoniod flat on his rear, but then Vandrin suddenly tackled Chromdraco to the ground. "Shut your maw Tavo!" Vandrin said his hands on Chromdraco's neck "Mordecai!" Chromdraco said struggling to get Vandrin off of him "RUAAAAHhhhh" But Vandrin bit his neck and his eyes rolled and his head dropped to the ground with a light thump. Vandrin looked up and got up, and slowly started walked towards Mordecai. "Stop!" Mordecai said activating the Prototype FUZOR device and putting it on, "I will use this!" Tavo then got up, the stumps started to bubble and glow. "What the!?" Mordecai said but before he could continue the stumps exploded as two new thinner arms emerged from the broken sockets. Mordecai froze in disbelief for a few seconds before Vandrin fisted Mordecai in the stomach, forcing the Draken to fall to his knees. "Not so tough, are you, begone!" Vandrin said as he raised his foot which was the last thing Mordecai saw before closing his eyes. A sickening sound rang out among the empty neighborhood, only to be heard by Binn, the fish like ceasarian monster was now catching up to the rest his teams trio saying "Huh, it's already over."
