"When did this happened!?" Verdtrus demanded. "Apparently," Omnidec explained, all returning interlopers in civilian clothing, "there was an agent by the Black scavengers by the name of Eiffel Blue." "Eiffel Blue...." Verdtrus said, as he thought back to a meeting with Black Hermit...

"What is this place?" Chromdraco asked as he and Verdtrus followed Black Hermit down an underground corridor which looked like an old mine shaft. Once they reach the exit, they see a large facility of people of differing races, Primary Black Hermit's Species, others are Sirians, Ceasarians, Garuda, and most notably Reptilians. "This is our base of operations." Black Hermit explained motioning to the Facility "As you know we are an underground organization, mostly to do what the pathetic CPDF and other groups like them can't do, keeping the peace." Verdtrus then pondered, "So they are mostly reactionary? Well that explains why New Forma is constantly under attack every year. So what of the Red Dragon Army? I heard of them but never got anything concrete." "We aren't affiliated with them." B.H. answered, "They're all comprised of Warmongers and contemptuous rats." "What of your views, what do feel about this" Chromdraco asked motioning towards the facility "I feel that the only way to have peace is through a force that focuses on the problem directly instead of reacting to idiots who just want to harm those just for kicks. Anyway I have a job for the two of you and your cyborg group." "Humonculi." Verdtrus corrected. "Humonculi group, sorry." Black Hermit continued "We need some items for a secret pro-" "SIR he's getting up!" a sirain called out "We need some help here." "Excuse me." Black Hermit said to Verdtrus and Chromdraco bowing, "I must deal with our friend in the medical bay." He turned and froze. In front of him was Eiffel Blue, still covered in his garb "Hello Eiffel." he said grimacing. "YO!" Eiffel said "Buss wants to lit yuu Buys tu knuw thit hii wull bi meking plinit full if yuu foul to git thi Requiem Items siun." "Don't worry" B.H. said "I have someone on the job." Eiffel turned and moved away, leaving Black Hermit with his guests. Then he turned to Verdtrus and Chromdraco and said "Now I must be going, my other guest." With that he left the two alone.

Now

"Did he sound like he had a speech imparment." Verdtrus asked "That's one way of saying it." Omnidec said. " This is bad! I think we need to get the requiem items to CPDF." Verdtrus said motioning towards the bag.  "Why?" Omnidec asked. "What?" "Why do we need to give the items to them when we can use it for your-?" But Verdtrus cut him off by grabbing him by the collar. "You know why! We can't risk them not knowing out about G Zero." He said then letting go "Sorry," he said "we are in a very serious situation right now, we can't afford to lose any more of you." "So he's dead right?" Tameron asked, carrying a worried visage on his face. "Yeah," Flaron said, "He went up in smoke." "Good" Tameron said but suddenly Bakore came in, still armored saying, "Guys CPDF are here! AND Rho Nu is with them!" {WHAT!?} Omnidec said in his head and called out, "Wait! Chrome dome, who told you about the Dark Scavengers?" Chromdraco, at first annoyed by his given nickname said "I overheard a conversation between Black Hermit and another figure, a sirian, I think." Verdtrus looked up and said "Chromdraco told me about that. Now, Mordecai I need you to turn on the Interloper." "What!?" Mordecai asked.

Meanwhile Chase and the other CPDF are outside unarmored and ready for anything. "Just be ready for anything guys," Chase said "They're still dangerous." Katie walked up and said "You do realize that we already know that?" Besides we have our secret weapon." "Really," James said smugglingy, "you don't have to compliment me, I just got-" "I wasn't referring to you." Katie said causing James to fall on his rear anime style. Then the door opened to reveal  Verdtrus, seemingly in his armored form. "Well you finally came. Let's just say-" Then he stopped to see Beowulf who is wearing his armor with his crimson helmet. "So, Lightbringer's top drone had come as well." Verdtrus said. "So you are part of Lightbringer?" Mark asked causing Beowulf to nod and respond. "Well in that case why are you wearing that bootleg armor." The Verdtrus figure looked at Chase and said "Apologies to you and the CPDF. We thought you were the threat as Black Hermit told us it is. Don't doubt me you are still our foes but I believe that we should have an alliance." "Fine last words Verdian Jayson." Beowulf said before an invisible pulse causing everyone around the entrance of the building to feel a heavy sensation which halted their movement. Beowulf pulled out a hand gun and raised it up to Verdtrus' face, and shot him between the eyes. "Well" he said to the now weakened agents, "I should have waited to do this until later, but I have things to do first, plus I don't want any innocent blood on my hands." He soon walked up the steps to the entrance and through the door he sees two lone figures, one Tarrot, armed with a silver shield like weapon and Twin Drake, armed with a pistol like weapon called a spitfire. "You'll have to get through us first!" Tarrot said " We are the only ones who can resist your suit's time dilation unit." "Really," Beowulf said smugglingy,  "How are you planning on  taking me down" before feeling cold steel cut into his side forcing him to scream in agony. "That's how! " Beowulf heard, before turning his head to see Omnidec in Verdtrus armor with the face mask down revealing his feline face. He then raised his hand to reveal the blue gauntlet used to revive Bakore, saying "You know, this thing is very useful."

To be continued, next time it's a three on one and Chase's group will have trouble of their own as well.
