Across the Threshold: Requiem's nine part 9 1/3
The sky was dark over New Forma's buildings as In the deep ends of the sewers under G'Hoot street, Omnidec, Twin Drake, and Tarrot were going over their options but then they received an unexpected message. [THIS IS THE COMANDER OF THE DARK SCAVENGERS, WE HAVE YOUR COMMANDERS. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN, BRING US THE BESTPLATE OF MIGHT FROM GASH WITH THE REST OF ITEMS IN THREE DAYS.] Hearing this, Omnidec and Tarrot grew pale as they looked over Twin Drake who was healing himself using the gauntlet they used earlier. "What are we going to do? They probably have Verdtrus and they have access of our link" Twin Drake said in between grunts of pain. "I'm not sure." Omnidec said his helmet dissipated into blue sparks, leaving his head exposed. "We haven't planned on this." Dissipating his helmet as well, Tarrot turned to Omnidec and said, "I believe we need to regroup, your bracelet can mimic anything right?" "Yeah, but only in a few meters, that's how I managed to get that monkey man off of me ar that water place." Tarrot then just "Ran! And the others are out of the range." "Out of range? What do you mean?" Twin Drake asked getting up. "They must have used that orange amulet," "The Amulet of Noas?" Twin Drake asked. "Yes, jeez, is that what they call it? Sounds like a bit much." Tarrot comented. "It was said to move it's user to any place they wish." Twin Drake explained, dissipating his own helmet, "Though it can only be used four times per day, as the legends stated." "Is all this from your mission," Omnidec asked "You know, when you stole it?" "I borrowed it." Twin Drake answered. "It's a long story." "We're getting off topic here!" Tarrot pointed out, clearly getting more agitated. "What we should do is try to figure out our next move." "It's simple." Twin drake stated "We regroup, retrieve the lost requiem chips, use the items to power up ourselves, and take down G Zero and Lightbringers." "Well, we need to figure out where Flaron and the others are and we do need to rescue Verdtrus and Chrome dome as well as that wimp Mordecai..... " Suddenly they heard a loud boom from down the tunnel. All three interlopers got ready to fight, reforming their helmets in the process. Tarrot looked around the tunnel, and sees a humaniod shadow moving from behind the corner. As the shadow crept forward, the three whipped out their weapons and Omnidec stepped forward and when the shadow's owner came into view, Omnidec's eyes widen as he Flip walked into view, carrying the bag that contained the Requiem Items.
"FLIP!?" Omnidec called out clearly surprised. "Hey guys!" Flip said, raising the amulet he used to get here, "We heard the message and I volunteered to bring the items to you guys!" The trio looked at Flip with varied reactions, all not good. "What's wrong?" Flip asked as Tarrot looked behind him to see Louise stumbling in. "Geez Flip is it, where are-" she froze in mid sentence suprised to see Tarrot creating a few seconds of akward silence. Twin Drake broke it by asking "Flip, where is Tameron and the others?"
Chipp, pulling out a G Saber in sword mode, slashed at several of the attackers, but several got out of the way as soon Chipp moved to cut them down. Bartch was not fairing any better, but he used a summoned hammer to score a victory against a black domed cyborg with a pair of blasters for palms. Q was holding of two attackers G saber and shield in hand. He smacked a bat like cyborg in the face with his shield and shot him several times in the chest with the G saber in gun mode. He then shot another, first in the knee and then smacked him in the head with his fist. Chipp swiped the card for the plasma blade and used the summoned weapon in tangent with the G saber to strike down a puma themed cyborg with saw blade for an arm and a barnacle themed cyborg with a drill arm. Chiros threw the crab cyborg over to the hover crafts, destroying one in the process. Wisey, summoning a two bladed dagger and a blaster, defeated another puma like cyborg with a pair of cannons on his arms. The remaining cyborgs fled, due to how many of their fellow comrades fell, with the Crab just barley reaching the hovercraft as it started to take off. Chipp and Q tried to shoot it down but to no avail.
Kafe got up to see at least 12 out of the 20 cyborgs fallen on the ground and said irritated "I TOLD you I had this!" "(Well you were knocked aside moments ago, so we stepped in.)" Q retorted. "So who were those guys anyway?" Chipp asked "They do not look familiar." "Not sure, the appeared a week before you arrived." Kafe answered, and he bend down to examine one of the cyborgs and said "To admit these guys look like they came from a Saturday morning cartoon show. These guys started to appear 2 weeks ago." Bartch looked around as well and said "These cyborgs... What are they doing here?" Chipp walked up to one of the cyborgs saying "Hey you alright?" The cyborg getting up however looked up and started blubbering before managing to say "Uh shoot!" before trying to escape before Chipp cocked his G Saber causing the cyborg to stop. "Don't think about it!" Chipp said "We have some questions for you guys? Firstly, who are you guys, next off, are you with Red Dragon, and finally why are you here?" the cyborg blubbered a bit before saying "W-W-We were just sent to kill the ceasarian noid, we just thought you guys were just some private investigators, not some super soldiers!"
Suddenly, the door to a nearby building was kicked open causing everyone to see an unarmored Tameron walking out of the building. He froze as soon as he saw Chipp holding a g saber at the cyborg. "Oh, hiiiiiieeeeee." he said before he ran back inside. Chipp and Q turned to each other and soon followed behind. "Watch the suspects here!" Chipp said "We'll catch this guy!" "Got it!" Wisey said raising his thumb up. Kafe soon said "I'm going in as well!" And started to follow the two inside. "Me too!" Chiros said and started after the chase as well, but Kafe turned and said "No you're not! STAY HERE!" "But-" "No BUTS!" Kafe said gesturing him to stay put. The ceasarian then followed after Chipp and Q, with a disappointed Chiros standing with Wisey and Bartch over the cyborgs that had attacked them.

As the hovercrafts landed on an abandoned parking lot, Chipp, Bartch, and Q got out, transformation devices ready. Kafe got out as well, with a the whitish object in hand as well. "I have this." Kafe said, and started to go towards the two hovercrafs. The occupants of the black crafts got out as well, each wearing dark military uniforms with a purple leaf like insignia on their chests. "(They look like Red Dragon,)" Q said as Kafe approached the group, "(should we wait for whoever throws the first punch or just come in guns a blazing?)" "Just be ready for anything." Chipp answered, "I've never seen guys like these before, but we can't jump to conclusions." "That insignia..." Bartch said but before any of them could respond, Kafe brought out a blaster and shot the closest soldier, causing the others to start to take on armored forms . "(Whelp, guns blazing it is then!)" Q said as the three agents charged at the horde. "FORM CHANGE!" The three said activating their devices, causing their transformations to take place. Kafe saw this and said "WAIT, NO! I SAID I-" but he was knocked aside by one of the monsters, a one eyed crab like cyborg. The crab yelled out "GET 'IM!" and the entire group charged at the three ready to fight. Upon seeing the commotion Wisey moved to get out to help but he the thought of Chiros and said turning "Alright, I'm not sure if Kafe wanted this but if you want to help, you can, just remember we always have each others'" but as soon as he turned his head to finish his sentence he noticed Chiros was already gone. "Chiros?" and he turned to the fight to see Chiros rushing to the fight, already morphing into his monster form. "Oh, okay then. Form change!"
